My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were huge and almost felt like a neat one-bedroom apartment, very well designed and quite contemporary, which is rare in my experience in Saudi. However, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke filling the room, even though I had requested a nonsmoking room. The service was a bit lacking in availability until at least 9 am the next day, but the staff were cooperative and pleasant, even helping me arrange a taxi to the airport at a cheaper rate than normal. The location of the hotel was relatively quiet and good, near the airport and next to a gas station with a supermarket. The dining was below average, with poor and basic options that did not leave a good impression. The facilities were decent, but there were some issues with the Wi-Fi that only worked near the door.
